But you can conquer that fear, painlessly and enjoyably.  How?  By attending our popular Public Speaking Course, called Speechcraft.
WHAT IS SPEECHCRAFT?
 Speechcraft is short public speaking course designed by Toastmasters International.  Speechcraft is an intensive six-week program designed to develop your public speaking skills step by step.  Experienced Toastmasters present the fundamentals of public speaking in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.  In six sessions, you might not get rid of the butterflies in your stomach, but you will have them flying in formation! 
Please note there is a minimum age restriction of 17 years. 
LEARN BY DOING
 – In Speechcraft, you will practice what you have learnt.  You will gain confidence in all aspects of communication, including written and impromptu speeches.
Topics covered include:
  •  speech construction,
  • impromptu speaking,
  • being a Master of Ceremonies,
  • proposing a toast,
  • gestures and body language,
  • vocal variety
HOW WILL IT HELP ME?

The Glenbrook Toastmasters Club conducts the course, every six months on a Thursday night from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Glenbrook Bowling Club, 1 Hare St, Glenbrook.  The cost of the course is $120.  Speechcraft course fees and Toastmasters membership fees are generally tax-deductible if your participation in Toastmasters is intended to further your professional career.

The next course will commence on Thursday, 15th February 2024.
